How it Works?
-

-
We identify the most suitable grant opportunities that align with your community’s needs and goals.
-
Our team collaborates with you to develop compelling grant applications, ensuring all supporting documentation is assembled.
-
We handle the submission process and follow up with funding agencies to maximize your chances of success.
We also schedule monthly "check-in" meetings to talk about priorities, upcoming grants, and provide an update on progress.
-
We understand the crucial importance of interim and final reporting in the grant cycle and how it can be a demanding and time-consuming process.
Our team will handle many aspects including preparing your team for evaluations/data collection, completing the analysis, and draft the reports. Your team will be responsible for preparing financial documentation.
This value-added service is at no extra cost so long as we remain on a retainer. Once the retainer ends, so does the report writing service.
Frequently Asked Questions
-
After a contract is signed and before you first meet with us, we will send a checklist of items we need (i.e. our onboarding package).
After our first meeting, we will develop a plan of potential grants to apply for. Once you approve that, and we have gathered all the required items, we will start.
-
If we can submit the application, we will. If you are required to submit it, we will give you step-by-step instructions. It’s very important to let us know once you’ve done that so we stop checking-in with you.
-
Axioma’s name is not on the application because we will communicate using the email address you assign to us (e.g. grants@yourcommunity.ca). Again, this is helpful to funders to show that we are representing your community’s interests. Most often it is this email receiving notifications.
Usually, it takes between three to six months before we hear back from funders.
-
It’s part of our commitment, so long as we remain on retainer and there are no outstanding invoices, to lead the reporting requirements. That said, your team will need to complete the financial reporting. We will send calendar reminders and schedule meeting invites, with plenty of advance notice, to ensure ample time to get the work done.
-
Our comprehensive report writing service is exclusively available as part of our monthly retainer agreement.
For as long as we are on the monthly retainer, we are pleased to offer our support in preparing and submitting these reports, with assistance from your team.
Should the retainer services cease or any invoice is outstanding, this value-added service will terminate.
